鳥飼と塩貝の二人による「kéngo」は、2017年秋に始まりました。
日々の暮らしの中で、無理なく着続けられること。
自分たちが面白いと感じた素材に、
小さな工夫を重ねながら、日常に寄り添う服をつくっています。
肌に触れたときの心地よさや、
着ている時間の自然さを大切にし、
綿や麻、ウールなど、着るほどに風合いが深まる素材を選んでいます。
自分たちで描いた絵をもとにした柄や、
時間とともに表情が変わる生地を使い、
長く手元に残る服をかたちにしています。
服づくりは、特別なものではなく、
自分たちの生活の延長にあるもの。
少しずつ手を動かしながら、
一着一着と向き合っています。
その人の暮らしの中で静かに馴染み、
いつの間にか、手放せない存在になること。
誰かの大切な洋服になりますように。
Clothing with warmth and lasting attachment.
kéngo was founded in the autumn of 2017 by Torikai and Shiogai.
We create clothing that can be worn naturally in everyday life,
working with materials we genuinely find interesting,
and shaping them through small, thoughtful details.
Comfort against the skin and ease while wearing
are at the heart of our approach.
We mainly use materials such as cotton, linen, and wool—
fabrics that grow richer in character the longer they are worn.
Using original patterns based on our own drawings,
and textiles that change in expression over time,
we make clothes meant to remain close at hand for years.
For us, making clothes is not something special or separate,
but an extension of our own daily lives.
Taking our time, we face each piece one by one.
Quietly blending into someone’s everyday life,
becoming something they wouldn’t want to part with.
We hope our clothes become something truly personal to you.
